ABOUT
Experienced Therapists Dedicated to Your Child's Communication Development
Julia Hartmann, M.A., CCC-SLP
Julia earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from San Diego State University. She has worked in mulitple school districts in the San Diego and Orange County areas, as well as spending the past eight years in multidisciplinary pediatric clinics and private schools. Additionally, she has provided early intervention programs, in-home service, has worked with brain injury survivors, and is PEERS certified. Having the opportunity to support language and social development is important work to Julia and she is honored when families choose her to join their team. Julia works closely with parents, caregivers, and family members to meet the needs of their child. Having strong relationships with others is important to Julia and she enjoys having a helpful role in the lives of others.
Allison Gates, B.A., SLP
Allison graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders and is licensed by the State of California and is an active member of the California Speech and Hearing Association as well as the American Speech & Hearing Association. She began her career with the Irvine Unified School District, where she worked with children ranging from 3-13 years of age with varying abilities. She worked in private practice for 15 years, which allowed her the experience of working with families and children navigating apraxia, articulation, phonology, oral motor/dysphagia, expressive language, auditory processing, social skills, fluency, and voice therapy. She has a true talent in her ability to engage every child of every age, ranging from 12 months to 18 years old.
